Useful to have ready
- What kind of tree it is, if you know (oak, sycamore, palm, pine, eucalyptus), and roughly how tall
- Where it stands: front yard, side yard, backyard, or the strip between the sidewalk and the street
- What's under it: a roof, a pool, a fence, a driveway, power lines
- Whether it's dead, leaning, cracked or already down
- How a crew gets in: driveway, side gate width, steps, a steep yard
- Whether you want the stump ground and the wood hauled or left
A tree in the parkway strip belongs to the City; see Pasadena street trees first. For a protected oak, sycamore or other native, the tree removal permit guide explains the City step. Want a number first? Try the tree removal cost page. The service area page shows where we work.
